Honor 6X getting Nougat in March rather than Q2 2017

The Huawei Honor 6X is a great phone, but its software is a little funky. It runs Emotion UI 4.1 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and the skin is very heavy and "interesting" (to say the least). This isn't to say that it's bad, because it's actually pretty decent. But there are plenty of improvements to be made, and EMUI 5.0 promises just that. On devices like the Huawei Mate 9, EMUI 5.0 has proven itself to be lighter, prettier, and far more functional than its predecessors. Huawei previously promised the Nougat update with EMUI 5.0 for the Honor 6X in Q2 2017, but now the official date is March. The software may be a bit different from what we saw on the Mate 9, but if it's anything like it, it's a great update. We're happy to see Huawei push the schedule up!
