One of the biggest smartphones announcements poised for MWC 2017 will come from LG. The Korean company is set to unveil its next-gen flagship, the LG G6 in Barcelona which should mark a return to a more classic design. As we get closer to February 26, more and more leaks are coming out revealing info about the upcoming product. The most recent one reveals a few pictures of what looks like a LG G6 prototype. When looking at these images, keep in mind this is a prototype and not the finished product. As you can see, the phone in these pics feature a metal unibody construction as expected. On the back we see the dual rear camera sensor plus a fingerprint scanner, which is in league with previous leaked renders. The new images also confirm a USB Type-C port located at the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack living on the top – just like we've been telling you before. Last but not least, the pictures reveal extremely thin bezels, especially on the sides. This year we expect more and more phones to arrive with edge-to-edge screens including the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. The trend set by the gorgeous Xiaomi MI MIX seems to be sticking.
