Samsung to Launch Galaxy Tab S3 Tablet at MWC 2017

Samsung is not going to launch the Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017, but that doesn't mean the Korean tech giant will skip the event altogether.

According to Korean sources, Samsung is preparing to launch a new tablet in Barcelona. The tablet market has seen a massive downfall over the last year, but the company still believes customers can't say no to a good slate.

So it will unleash the Galaxy Tab S3 (successor of Galaxy Tab S2) later this month. As revealed by a previous benchmark listing, the Tab S3 should come packing a 9.6-inch display with 2,048 x 1,536-pixel resolution plus a Snapdragon 820 under the hood. Samsung will also throw in 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internals storage and a 13MP/5MP camera duo.

The Galaxy Tab S3 will come in Wi-Fi and LTE models, both with Android 7.0 Nougat onboard. The report claims the new tablet is going to be even thinner than its 5.6mm predecessor. If this piece of info turns out to be true, we're bound to see a really anorexic tablet come out of Samsung in a few weeks.

Last but not least, we're told that the device will probably sell for approximately $794 CAD which is quite a lot for a tablet that doesn't bring anything spectacular to the table.
